I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I know I did. I have so much to be thankful for – a loving family, great friends, running – I could write a whole post on it!
I woke up bright and early to run the annual Turkey Trot!
The weather was a lot different than last year.
last year’s Turkey Trot!
It was so cold! I finished in 22:40. Definitely not my best, but I’m just happy I did it!
Then I went to my step-grandparents. I didn’t want to eat too much there since I was eating at home too so I only ate some fruit salad. We watched the Packer/Lion game – the whole house was divided!
Then I went back home for my real dinner! I’m actually not much for Thanksgiving dinner. I don’t really like turkey or mashed potatoes.
We had the most generic dinner ever but that’s okay!
I made up for not much turkey and mashed potatoes by sweet potatoes, stuffing, and green bean casserole! And of course,
Then we played Texas Hold ’em.
Guess who won?!
$8.
By that time I was exhausted and more than ready for bed! I’m loving the fact that I still have 3 more days off from school. I will not be Black Friday shopping today. I think it’s crazy that some stores opened yesterday.
How was your Thanksgiving?
Was there anything out of the ordinary at your table?
Did you race?!
No Fashion Friday today – we’ll resume next week! π

I really am surprised that I made it! Haha, thanks π
Our Turkey Trot was in the 90’s! Crazy stuff. My face literally looked like yours in your picture from last year. It was not the happiest of times! I ran in the 30’s yesterday and felt REALLY accomplished, but snow is a whole other story. You’re so speedy in general AND you ran in snow. You’re such a beast for running through all that snow! My Thanksgiving we went to our good friends house. We watched the Cowboys play football (soo Texan aren’t we?) and ended up betting on the game (That was weird). Somehow we ended up playing really intense card games too with money. I’m not really sure why we all were in the mood to bet, but it just happened. Then, we ate WAYYY too much pie (okay, maybe that was just me). I ran it all off that morning though, so it’s alright to eat 2 (or 5) pieces of pie, righttt? I
In regards to Black Friday, ‘m totally doing cyber monday here! I live 10 minutes away from Mexico, so our black fridays are all the crazy Americans AND Mexicans. It’s seriously crazy crowded everywhere. My brother and I went to see Catching Fire and avoid the shopping madness as much as possible! I can’t wait for your next Fashion Friday!

The 90’s?! Omg! My uncle actually wanted to bet $3 a person instead of $1 but we all said no. I wish we would’ve bet $3 – more money for me! π It’s totally okay to have 5 pieces of pie. My mom actually has to make a pie just for me, hahaha!
Ahh I want to see Catching Fire so bad!! Hunger Games lover right here!
