Christmas needs two recaps because it was so full of fun! Here is part one. π
***
On the 23rd we had a family gathering and potluck. So much good food!
Christmas Eve started with brunch at my aunt’s house.
Cinnamon roll bake, cheesy potatoes, and egg bake. I didn’t run before we went and I didn’t worry about eating anything. I’m proud about that!
I went for my first cross country ski of the year! I did about 3 miles in an hour. I’m so excited to go a lot this year!
The whole family came over to my house for appetizer night. We had spinach and artichoke dip (my fav), salsa, texas caviar, mini hotdogs, meatballs, venison, shrimp, and cheese & crackers, to name a few π
Then we all headed to church for “midnight mass”, which was at 10! My pastor had an amazing sermon and I was thinking about how blessed I am!
I got home and was more than ready for bed. In the morning, Santa will have come!
To be continued π

I haven’t gone snowboarding this season and I’m starting to miss it! My snowboard is back at college so I’ll have to wait until January π I never tried cross country skiing!
