Christmas needs two recaps because it was so full of fun! Here is part one.
***
On the 23rd we had a family gathering and potluck. So much good food!
Christmas Eve started with brunch at my auntโs house.
Cinnamon roll bake, cheesy potatoes, and egg bake. I didnโt run before we went and I didnโt worry about eating anything. Iโm proud about that!
I went for my first cross country ski of the year! I did about 3 miles in an hour. Iโm so excited to go a lot this year!
The whole family came over to my house for appetizer night. We had spinach and artichoke dip (my fav), salsa, texas caviar, mini hotdogs, meatballs, venison, shrimp, and cheese & crackers, to name a few
Then we all headed to church for โmidnight massโ, which was at 10! My pastor had an amazing sermon and I was thinking about how blessed I am!
I got home and was more than ready for bed. In the morning, Santa will have come!
To be continued
I havenโt gone snowboarding this season and Iโm starting to miss it! My snowboard is back at college so Iโll have to wait until January
I never tried cross country skiing!
