Christmas morning started with a 2 mile run and 8 minute abs. Then pecan rolls! And a green smoothie. I figured I should at least get some nutrients since I wasn’t going to get any later π
My dad, stepmom, and brother came over, then we all opened our gifts. I got so many nice things from my mom and “Santa!”
In the past I would have then went to play piano at the local community dinner. They didn’t ask me to play this year, so I was kind of upset about it. So I headed to my step-grandparents’ house.
For a while I was sitting there sulking. I was angry that my Christmas tradition was broken. I know, it’s not actually a big deal. Finally, I just decided to enjoy what I did have, which was time to spend with family. My day became so much better!
My step-grandparents are awesome. (He is the one that helped me grow a garden). They got me an iPod shuffle!
From there I went to my grandma and grandpa’s house. Our dinner wasn’t very fancy, it was rather simple. Only 4 dishes.
Broccoli rice casserole, shrimp salad, rolls, and ham. Yes, that is a piece of ham on my plate. I took one bite, but I just don’t like it! At least I tried it!
The family. After this I went to my other grandma’s house. It was nice to visit with her. I played the piano for her and ate way too many peanut butter blossoms. Cookies are always better when they’re not from your house. I just realized I didn’t take any pictures there!
Finally… last stop! I went to my dad’s house. I had presents from Santa there, too, and I got what I’ve been waiting for…
YAY! It’s the Garmin Forerunner 610. I tried it out yesterday morning and it worked great! No more MapMyRun π
Another present:
Does this not look divine?!
Then it was finally time for bed. I’m a busy girl on Christmas! That’s not a bad thing though. I have so much family that I get to see. I am blessed with a wonderful life and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
I hope you all had a perfect Christmas. π
What did you make for breakfast on Christmas morning?
What is your favorite present this year??

It’s totally okay to say bye bye to healthy eating at Christmas – all about moderation right? π I will admit though, eating all of this sugar has made me crave some clean, healthy eats!
Wow you were spoiled this Christmas! You don’t have any siblings, do you? I remember I was always so jealous of my “only child” friends because they got so many more presents than I did. π That Garmin looks SO nice! I’m jealous!

I’ve been playing piano since I was 5 π the Garmin is making me actually want to go on runs haha! I’m sure it will wear off eventually, but as of right now I’m loving heading out into the cold!
Both Christmas Eve from your last post AND Christmas day look wonderful! I’m sorry you didn’t get to play at the community dinner this year. I’m sure you do a beautiful job – they don’t know what they’re missing out on! Oh well, their loss! I’m glad you still ended up having a good Christmas. You already know that I got a Garmin too! I’m so glad you like yours, I’m loving mine too! π Have a great Friday!!
