I absolutely love waking up on winter mornings to a huge, warm bowl of oatmeal. Today I’m putting a twist on my basic oatmeal recipe!

Pear Spiced Oats

I found a pear in the fridge…

 pear

There was no way it could be eaten alone so I put it into some oats!

I also tried an apple pie oatmeal recipe but it wasn’t quite good enough to share. Does anyone have a good recipe?

What is your favorite oatmeal recipe?!

Happy WIAW! πŸ˜€

My mom has been on a pear kick lately, but I’d never thought of putting them in my oats! You my friend are a genius. Also, your photos are gorgeous!

I’ve missed reading your blog girlie! These oats look wonderful. I don’t think I’ve ever thought to add pear to my oats, but I love the idea! I think my favorite kind of oats is when I stir in part of a chocolate bar… mmm πŸ˜› But I love good ‘ole banana oats too! Especially when the banana is caramelized!
