Hello everyone and happy hump dayyy! I love today because it means WIAW! I haven’t taken a picture of a whole day of eats, so today I’m showing you some meals that haven’t made it on the blog yet!
I tried a recipe from Pinterest that says to cook noodles in milk then add cheddar cheese and you’ll get the best mac&cheese ever. yeah… no. This stuff was nasty! I’m thinking it might work a little better if you shred your own cheese instead of using the packaged stuff. If was all chunky.
Soup Supper: the first Monday of every month the local churches put together a soup & sandwich supper. I love going! The sandwiches are typically egg salad and pickle and bologna. This month the soups were Italian tortellini and chicken wild rice.
Last month I had chicken and wild rice with egg salad.
They always have the best homemade desserts – which always include pumpkin bars!
I took a bag of frozen pasta and veggies with a garlic sauce and microwaved it. It worked in a pinch!
Sweet potato! I had one leftover from Thanksgiving and microwaved it up. Seriously… why don’t I make theses more often?! They’re so yummy! I topped it with peanut butter and cottage cheese. Odd combo, but it was amazing!
Grilled cheese from Bobaloon’s. It’s been awhile since I last went there!
Pad Thai is always a favorite! It’s another one I wonder why I don’t make more often. There’s so many flavors!
If you haven’t tried the combo avocado + cottage cheese please do. Sooo yummy!
Pizza is a fairly common occurrence around here.
And last but definitely not least, a Monte Cristo! It’s a turkey and swiss sandwich with egg dipped bread. In other words, French toast savory style!
Which of these looks the best to you?
Any unusual flavor combo’s that you love?
Have a great Wednesday, everyone!

Pad thai – I miss it since I haven’t had noodles in forever!

Why not?! Go have some noodles π
Ooo if you like cottage cheese and avocado you have to try Ricotta cheese and avocado/tomato on toast. Sprinkle it with a little salt and pepper and enjoy!
Toasted sandwiches> non toasted sandwiches π
Oh my gosh that sounds amazing! Definitely trying it! Toasted sandwiches are so much better than non toasted π
Sweet potatoes are my favorite!! It’s too bad the mac and cheese didn’t turn out well π and I can’t eat cottage cheese.. The texture is too weird for me!

I don’t really like it plain, but I could eat it all the time mixed with something! I prefer having a bunch of different textures in my mouth – is that weird?!
AHH! Have you seen Charlie and the Chocolate factory? Where Willy Wonka invents that thing where you can take chocolate right from the TV screen and eat it? Well I want to do the same with all your pics HAHAH! That pad thai = heaven!!!

Of course I have seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory π hahahaha thanks girl! I could say the same about yours! π
A “Cleaning out the camera” post is a brilliant idea. I could probably fill a whole year’s worth of WIAWs with all of the pictures I have stockpiled. Lol.
I think that savory French toast sounds best. I LOVE maple syrup π

Haha, this wasn’t even half of them! I had to stop somewhere though! I love maple syrup too – I’m spoiled, we make it homemade here!
