Snow day! Woohoo! Snow days on Monday are the best. I didn’t have school on Friday either, so 4 day weekend, whaddup?! It’s not really a snow day, but a windchill day – it’s supposed to get -45 degrees today. Ugh… anyway, there has been so much marvelous going on lately… without further adieu!
First of all, today is my official blogiversary! I started Minougirl one year ago today. I’m not going to link back to my first post, so if you really want to embarrass me you can figure out yourself how to read it π I’ve got a giveaway going on right now in honor of the blogiversary, be sure to check it out!
On Friday I went out to dinner with my grandparents who are leaving for Florida for 2 months. Jealous!
I got the bruschetta pasta – same thing as last time! And it was just as good!
I ran with my running group on Saturday. We did about 5.5 miles in the cold! I’m surprised we even made it that far! It took me the rest of the day to unthaw.
Exam grades are in! All A’s – 102% on my calculus exam! #mathgeek
I completed the 21 Day Yoga Challenge! I’m so happy I did it and I really developed a new appreciation for yoga. I’m gonna start the intermediate challenge now!
I’ve gotten some awesome packages lately too.
New camera!!! To say I love it is an understatement. I’ve been taking pictures like there’s no tomorrow. I’m just blown away at how clear the pictures are!
I went to Taylor’s camp on Saturday and took 500 a couple pictures.
Not so marvelous… I’ve been battling a cold all weekend. Stuffy nose, sinuses, no motivation to do anything but sit on the couch. Hopefully I’ll be feeling better soon but I’m still feeling a little under the weather today! π

It’s freezing temperatures where I live in Canada. I don’t run outdoors when it’s this cold, although I do like to when it warms up in spring time.

Happy blogiversary!! Being sick sucks π I was sick in the beginning of January and it was horrible. I couldn’t get out of bed for a couple days. It’s warming up a little here, but I’m sure it won’t stay. Awesome camera! You’re going to have lots of fun with that π Have a great week!!

Your pictures are STUNNING! I didn’t check the forecast before I went running today…BIG mistake. Normally I’m a huge wimp about running in the cold and today was no different. I had my hands over my ears half the time! -15C is just too cold for me, haha. Congrats on a year of blogging! π

I hope you feel better! I really need a new camera – mine takes ok photos, but nothing of amazing quality. My first post was way worse than yours – it was a sentence and I didn’t title it or say anything about me haha! I’ve been looking for a running group in my area, but I haven’t found one yet π
