Okay guys, I’ve had a long week. I feel like there are a few things that I haven’t talked about on the blog and Molly gave me the idea to do a coffee date post, so let’s go out for coffee and catch up on a few things!
1. I don’t have school today because it’s -10 degrees. No school tomorrow either so I’ve got a nice 4 day weekend ahead.
2. My dad left for Florida today. I’m kind of wishing I would’ve said yes to going way back when they planned it! I just didn’t want to miss a ton of school.
3. I started Drivers Ed on Monday(!), which is part of the reason that I’ve been super tired this week. It’s from 7-9 on Monday’s, Tuesday’s, and Wednesday’s for 4 weeks. One week done, three more to go. It sucks now, but I’ll be so happy when it’s done.
4. Basketball is all done, and track starts next Monday. I’m actually really excited. I’ve missed running!
5. Along with the cold, part of the reason I’m not running too much is because the roads are literally sheets of ice. No joke. You can’t go a block without slipping. I’ve already wiped out in my driveway!
6. I made muffins but I’m not going to post the recipe. They were okay, but I just wasn’t happy with them. I only want to share the best with you guys!
7. I haven’t been feeling very hungry lately. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still eating! It’s just that nothing has really been sounding good. I don’t know if it’s the weather or what, but the thought of food is kind of disgusting me!
8. I made a new header last week. I actually really enjoyed making it. If anyone would like some help with any blog design things, let me know! I’d love to help π
9. Apparently the Upper Peninsula was the coldest place in the US in January. Let’s just continue that into February too!
10. I don’t know if you know or not, but this week is National Eating Disorder Awareness week. I would have liked to have a post about it, but I did not have the time to write it and I’d rather have a well-written post over a half-hearted one. I still really want to post my recovery story.. I just have to get in the writing mood! Head on over to Amanda‘s blog to read some more stories.
Well, if you made it all the way through that, congrats. Tell me something about your life lately!

Awww, I just love your new header. It’s so cute and so pretty.
Lucky you, having days off. I hope the cold isn’t bothering you too much . I really wish we had track in Denmark. I think you can do track like one place in the entire country π
Have a wonderful loooong weekend!

Thanks Josefine!
I would actually rather go to school than have the cold. I can’t even go outside! That’s too bad about track in Denmark – I love it!
Have a great weekend also π
I was going to say that something looked different around here… Love it, girl! The cats are -so- cute. And holy.wow, can it be spring already? We haven’t been dealing with too much ice and snow here, but it’s been a balmy -25C, which makes going outside basically impossible. At least spring is on its way… the days are already getting longer, which is kind of awesome π

Thanks love π I literally can’t even go outside without getting frostbite! The longer days are making me SO happy π
Your new header is adorable! PS I’m drooling over those muffins… even if they “weren’t the best”. If there’s chocolate chips, I’m a fan π

Haha that made them okay π thanks!
I love these posts as you know π I remember taking drivers ed and it sucked so badly. But just know it’ll be over soon and that just means you’re that much closer to getting your license! (well once you’re 16 ;)).

I know! I’ve considered just riding my bike everywhere instead. It would save money and it would be some exercise lol! π
I love your header π Boo for ice π Have fun doing track!
Thanks girl!
I wish we had Driver’s Ed in Australia, but instead we have to drive with our parents for a total of 75 hours. It’s terrible. When you have to miss school because of snow days, do you have to make it up at another time? I was always mystified about how people in the UK and US got to miss school!

Oh I still have to drive with my parents. The class is a total of 24 hours, plus 6 hours of driving with the teacher, plus 50 hours of driving with parents! Crazy! I’m not sure how other schools do it, but at mine we’re allowed to miss 5 days of school a year. Any more than that and we have to make them up during summer!
Love the new header! SO cute! And those muffins look delicious! Did you photograph them yourself :D?

I really love your new header! It looks uber professional. I’m saving up to buy an 17th avenue blog template I think- did you get yours off Etsy?
