Hey guys! Long time no talk π I’ve missed blogging!
I’m back from my awesome trip to Michigan Tech and life is back to normal. Before I share everything from my trip I just wanted to share a super duper easy dessert I made last night. And because I’m procrastinating sorting through the hundreds of pictures I took π
First! Breakfast. It was my first green smoothie in a week. I actually didn’t miss them as much as I expected to. That was the last of the cinnamon-vanilla-cream cheese english muffins and they’re limited edition. Definitely need to recreate them.
For lunch I made an egg sandwich with guac, green onions, and feta. And another green smoothie.
For some reason I didn’t enjoy this as much as I normally do? After a week of dorm food my body isn’t adjusting to food at home very well. I think I might take a break from green smoothies. Is it possible to eat too many vegetables? I think I am!
Seeing all the babies was nice <3
Cookout with the family for dinner (pork chops… ew)
This is a recipe my grandma always makes for family gatherings and I tried to make it myself! It couldn’t be easier; ice cream sandwiches, cool whip, fudge sauce, caramel/butterscotch sauce, and peanuts. Layer and freeze!
This is the recipe! It’s a super simple, no bake, and summer friendly dessert!
After dinner I went golfing for the first time this summer. I did the best I’ve ever done!
Hope you are all enjoying your Sunday!

My body took a while to adjust to some foods after my trip to Villa Nova College last year – it’s fine to take a break from green smoothies π
The dessert looked really yummy!

It’s also good since I won’t feel like I “have” to make one! I can eat whatever I am craving!
That cake looks so pretty!! π I like how you drizzled the sauces.
I hate pork chops too. But then again, all meat grosses me out right now!
I’m glad you had a good time at Michigan Tech π I feel ya with adjusting to “normal” food again though. It is NOT easy going from lots of processed foods/no veggies/big portions to natural whole foods!

Meat is grossing me out too! I consider going vegetarian but then I have a sloppy joe and I’m like ummm nope haha π
Why haven’t I ever thought of that?! And I am glad you’re back π

Cute kitty alert! She’s adorable and I get that you miss all of them when you’re away. What’s her name fingers crossed I’m not guessing wrong and it’s a him π ]. We used to have cats years ago, too, though none of them were of the ‘fluffy’ kind.
And golf! Such a typical summer activity. It admittedly was mini golf only for us but we went almost every time I visited my cousins in summer. Wow, your post is bringing back memories.
Her name is Cleo! I love my kitties π yes, I’m just trying to enjoy all of the simple summer moments rather than let them pass!
Sometimes I think I eat too many vegetables. Haha. All this food looks amazing though!

Haha! What I think I’m going to do is not force myself to eat vegetables if they don’t sound particularly good. But if I’m craving them then I’ll definitely eat ’em!
