Hello everyone! I had my first track meet yesterday so I’m just popping in to share some pictures and times! I’ll have them listed in my workouts post as well but I have some more things that I want to share too.
Before the bus left I stopped home for lunch:Sprouted bread, homemade pesto, vegan mayo, avocado, hemp hearts, tomato, and greens mix! I had it today too and will probably have it for the next few weeks until I get sick of it. haha!

- 3200m relay: 2:39 (my split… don’t know team time) – 5th
- 1600m: 5:41 – 2nd
- 3200m: 12:17 – 2nd
- 1600m relay: 1:12 (my split) – this isn’t usually a race I do but they needed a girl so I jumped in after my 2 mile!
I felt pretty good after all my races! It was nice to finally get a meet out of the way. It’s also really really dry in the dome so getting outside in the fresh air will be nice.
And since they’re not all pretty… π lol
The parentals were awesome and brought me food during the meet. Sorry for all of the bad quality pictures but I forgot my camera!
And after we stopped for more food because 1. rungry and 2. in Marquette so can’t miss a chance for good food!
Kale chickpea salad + red curry tofu!A stop to the bakery was necessary too:)
Had my first apple fritter and I’m not sure how I’ve lived this long without them. It’s alright though, I’ll make up for the lost time.
I’m writing this up after just getting home from the talent show!! Mom took a video of both of my acts but I don’t know if I want to post them, haha. We’ll see!

Your events/times sounded so similar to mine that it was like a recap of one of my high school track meets haha (I always liked/did best in the 2 mile personally!) What’s your favorite event?
That’s crazy!! I guess I like the two mile (NOT during it!) but it always feels the best to finish!

Awesome job! It’s amazing to me that you can just do all those events back to back to back and still kill it! And seriously-apple fritters are the best!
It’s actually terrible – I have the first event, middle, and second to last. I WISH they were closer together so I don’t have to re-warm up every time! Thanks girl!
Congrats on the track meet – your times are amazing π Also, it’s so cool that you are allowed to wear a watch; we aren’t allowed to wear any jewelry, watches, etc in meets!
Wearing a watch is a new rule! I had brought my Garmin but apparently that’s not allowed so my coach gave me his π thanks Liz!
I’m actually a little obsessed with you cute you look running. Like seriously, if I looked that good running, I would have someone photograph me all the time π And your food photography skills only seem to get better. Seriously, on a good day I can take a adequate picture of oatmeal. You make things look so tasty and ugh, I am in love with all your Instagram pictures! I’m also very proud to call you my friend, especially after your necessary bakery stop. That only made me like you more!
Whenever I see I have a comment from you I have to brace myself for what’s to come. You are THE sweetest. And your Dad’s book?!?! I actually showed my mom because he is so dang cool. I’m proud to call YOU my friend. You truly are a role model to me. <3 π
