By the time everyone reads this I’ll either be in flight or in…
CALIFORNIA!
I’m a little excited.
With that being said I most likely won’t be posting until I get back next week. And with the frequency of my posts lately… that’s pretty normal. But I will definitely be posting very often on Snapchat so add me (@leighawoelffer:) Anyway, I have some stuff from recently that I want to share!
We got the garden all planted! This is the first year we’re doing it at our house instead of at the farm. I never wrote a whole post on last year’s garden… I may still do that. We’ll see if I want to try to find all the pictures! But let’s be honest..it probably won’t happen.
All planted! I can’t wait for everything to be ready. Another thing we did last week was fire up the grill! I found these vegan brats at the health food store and we made some asparagus from the farm and vegetarian baked beans. Good. Meal.
I don’t like hot dogs or brats but sometimes I feel left out when I’m at a cookout and don’t have one. These vegan brats though?! I LOVED THEM.
The rest of my time has been pretty filled as well. I started running again after taking a week off when track got done. Lots of bike riding, walks, working, eating, but not that much cooking. Meals have been easy and quick.
Okay, I lied. I just put together some other pictures from lately and will post those in a few days!
I really need to go to bed though because it’s 2:38 AM and I’m leaving in 4 hours π
CALI HERE I COME!

Thanks Alison!! IT WAS AMAZING.
Safe travels Leigha! Hope Cali is totally awesome!! Thanks for the post – love the UP light, bright green grass and I can practically feel the cool breeze off the lake – so refreshing on this 82F and 84% humidity morning here in S. Florida. Happy gardening. Can I suggest to try some peas on a trellis? you might like them in your gorgeous salads and I found they grew really well there in my fenced around garden (but looks like you might be planting what the deer wont eat). BTW looks like your dog bite healing well.
Cali was INCREDIBLE. Thank you! We grew peas last year but didn’t have a trellis. I’ll have to try those! And yes! My bite is healing very well.. almost completely better!
How exiting!!! Have a wonderful trip to California! Wish it was me π
I acan’t wait to hear more about it.
Those sausages sound heavenly. And I love your garden π
Thanks Josefine!! It was absolutely incredible!
WHAT. SINCE WHEN ARE YOU COMING TO CALIFORNIA. Obviously my lack of blog reading due to finals and moving back to my hometown have played a role in my having no clue haha. Can’t wait for you to soak up my state!
Also, your home is unbelievably gorgeous. I’m dying with jealousy over that big garden you have planted and all that glorious nature surrounding you!
I so wish I could have met up with you!! We’ll have to do that the next time I come π
Right?! It still blows my mind whenever I see how I LIVE there. Like, how is this real life?!
The garden looks beautiful! And those pancakes at the end! Man oh man… I’ve got to make some myself! Have fun in California!
Thanks Katherine!! It was AMAZING. I can’t wait to go back!
