Right now as I write this, I’m laying in my hotel bed at our ski resort in Idaho! But that will be my next post. Last week was my trip to Lansing for Youth in Government, and here are all the pictures! If you want to learn more or see pictures from the previous years, look here and here 🙂
I was in the electronic press again this year, so I got to make videos throughout the conference. I sat in on a lot of House and Senate sessions and explored the Capitol and the state capital, Lansing!
Food is a huge part of the trip, and I love going to all the restaurants that I can’t go to at home.
And of course there was a ton of hanging out and having fun (and selfies)!
I swear each year keeps getting better. There were definitely some interesting events this year, like a shooting right next to the hotel the week before, protestors, and a homeless guy that kept bothering people, but they just made it all the more memorable I can’t believe I only have a year left!
