Tomorrow I’m leaving for college. It hasn’t really hit me until today that this is the last day I’ll go running in my favorite spot and hang out with my kitties and kayak in the backyard and all the little things that are part of home. It’s not that I’ll never be back again, but I’m starting a new chapter of my life that is both scary and exciting and everything in between. I only had one (two because I just cried writing this COOL) little breakdowns but I’m sure there are more just waiting to happen. I never thought I would be that kind of person!! wow.
Anyway. I went to California!! And I’ve been putting off writing this post for too long because I’m lazy and have been lacking motivation to write. But I have to post about my trip!
Before I start, there is someone who is in some pictures with me that I should probably introduce…..this is my boyfriend Mikey!
So yeah.
It’s even scarier introducing him to the blog than it was to my family!!! Wow.
We went to see his sister and her boyfriend who were the best hosts ever. Thank you so much Katie and Jon!!! You guys were amazing.
We stayed in San Jose but took some day trips too.

Thanks for the udates Leigha! Your trip looks fun. It has been so interesting and inspiring to see your growing up and the amazing opportunities ypu pursue. Although I dont know you I am quite proud of your choice to pursue ROTC at Tech and decline West Point. And i am confident you will be stellar in your academic career too. I look forward to hearing about your pursuits and hope you will continue to share. Always remember you have a ton of support, especially in those hard moments that will happen.
