Hello! I just finished my second day of classes. I’ve had chem, physics, global issues, and Air Force classes and I’m a little bit overwhelmed. I’m definitely still getting used to everything, and I’d like to do a post on my schedule when I’m more settled in. I don’t have any homework (due tomorrow) so I thought I could write up a quick post with some highlights of the U.P. for 906 Day!
*for those not from around here…it’s September 6th (9/06), the day to brag about the Upper Peninsula and all of its beauty. the 906 comes from the area code of the whole peninsula that we all refer to with a lot of love.* It’s what my favicon is! (the little icon on the tab)

That sure brought back memories going through all those! There were so many more sunsets and sceneries but I can’t post them all.
Of course the U.P. is beautiful but we can’t forget its most famous food – pasties!!

And with that, I’m off to go try and get some pictures of the northern lights! They’re supposed to be out tonight but it’s pretty cloudy so we’ll see. I guess I could get started on my homework…
