Three weeks of class are done already! The days seem really long, but the week as a whole goes by so fast. This weekend my family came up to visit! Grandma and grandpa haven’t been up here in 30 years and it was my mom’s first time up on top of the mountain which you’ll see pictures of later.
Friday night we got pizza at The Ambassador. Every time I’ve been here it’s been very good!
Saturday morning I got breakfast at Cafe Rosetta in Calumet and then we were off to the top of the Keweenaw.
Our first stop was the bridge in Eagle River. While going through town we found out there was a 5k going on and I was pretty upset to miss it.
We also stopped at the Jampot to see all the goodies. If you’ve never heard of it you should check it out!
On the way to Eagle Harbor we stopped at the stairs. I love the color of the wood against the water and grass!
From there we went up Brockway Mountain Drive to see some of the most beautiful views around.
I can’t wait to come back in a few weeks to see the colors!
From there we went to Copper Harbor and to the end of US 41.
We stopped for some ice cream and headed back to Houghton! They were only here a day but it was great to see them (and have a meal out of the dining hall;)

What a fun day! Love seeing the pictures. You look a lot like your mom. At first glance I thought you were your mom, LOL! Congrats on your first 3 weeks accomplished. You look relaxed and happy, so college must be agreeing with you. I would love to go in that bakery, too!
I think she is beautiful so I’ll take that as a compliment:) college is definitely hard but I’m adjusting!! Three exams this week!
