Every so often I look through my drafts to see the posts I once had a thought of writing. I just came across one I had started a year ago as I was approaching my one year anniversary of moving to Los Angeles. I clearly forgot to finish and post the rest of it, but suddenly I find another year has gone by and I have some time to reflect.
The last two years have been without a doubt the most transformative, challenging, and enjoyable times of my life (but that’s what your 20s are for right?), and as I go back through my memories and photos I’m reminded of so many experiences that I would never have imagined I’d be living.
I’ve met so many beautiful friends that have turned into family and am figuring out more who I am everyday.
I live each day with gratitude, and I look forward each day to seeing what else this chapter of my story brings.
To the little girl from a small town in Michigan that always dreamed of moving to California—you really did it.
