I don’t just run… I also bike ride! Yesterday my dad and I partook in a “Century Ride”. And no, we didn’t do the 100k! Just the 40k for us π
I was super excited to get there because they had “gourmet” waffles. Strawberries and whipped cream isn’t really gourmet, but it’s still yummy!
And then we were off! It wasn’t the best day for it.. at all – drizzly and windy.
It got better as we went on though! And you just start not paying attention to the weather.
About halfway there was a rest stop. I ate a banana with peanut butter and some kiwi, even though I had just had the waffle! They even had a make your own smoothie, but I was too cold for that!
Lots of farms were passed.
After about 2.5 hours we made it to the finish!
I had a marvelous time and it was nice to be with my dad! I’m definitely going to do this again next year. Hopefully the weather will be a little nicer! Have a good Monday everyone. π

Looks like so much fun!!! I love daughter-father times. π I would love to do a ride like that with my mom (she and I rode a lot over the summer), but I guess having a bike would be necessary…. why did mine have to get stolen?!

Oh no! That’s terrible!! I just got mine this year, and it came with a warranty, lol!
That sounds like such a fun thing to do on the weekend. My dad and I are going to try to do a triathlon next summer. Yay for father/daughter events!

What a fun ride! PB+banana = perfect bike food. One of my favorite things in the whole is biking with my dad. I make him take it easy on me though! π
