Hey everyone! I had a basketball game last night so I didn’t get a chance to write up a post earlier. Here’s What I Ate Tuesday, game day style!
The usual breakfast
with a new peanut butter!
Lunch is the hardest time for me. I eat earlier than I’d like (11:15), so I’m not super hungry yet. Most days it’s just a sandwich and apple.
I felt a little hungry soon after so I had a clif bar. Then we left for the game which was an hour away!
When we got there I had a banana. I could’ve went without it but I told myself that I needed fuel for the game!
After the game I went to Jimmy Johns(!) and got my #12 – wheat bread, turkey, provolone, lettuce, tomato, avocado spread, and mayo! I love their bread so much. So thick and grainy!
Even though we lost it was still a super intense game. Some pictures:

I haven’t had a sandwich in sooo long! I used to eat crazy early in high school too- 10:35! It was ridiculous. Now I eat early (11ish) because I’m legitimately hungry. #collegeprobs

10:35?! Holy crap! That’s crazy. That’s, like, breakfast time on the weekends haha! I guess it’s not too bad that I eat when I do, if I had to wait for 2nd lunch I’d probably be hangry at everyone lol

I LOVE this post! I used to play basketball (and lacrosse) year-round – school, travel, AAU, college – so reading about game day makes me miss it so much! We used to eat a LOT on game days… We’d go out before the game (usually to Subway) and if the game was on a Friday night Silver Diner was our go-to π

Thanks Allison! π you played college ball?! That’s awesome! I’m not sure yet if I want to or not… I’m not sure I want the stress of practices along with classes! Although when sports are done I don’t know how I’m going to fill my life, lol! I’ve never heard of Silver Diner before, but we frequent Subway all the time haha!
I played basketball in 4th grade. I was terrible and I didn’t like it (: I do love watching the games though, and I’m part of my school’s pep band!! (:

Hahaha! I’ve been playing since 4th grade. I’m in pep band too, so when my game’s done, I have to hurry to play with the band!
I have never had Jimmy John’s, but I’ve heard of it. I’m not sure if there are any near Pittsburgh.. I will have to look into that!

Oh it was amaaazing π Crunchy peanut butter is my favorite flavor! Although I’ve only tried like 3 haha. The pumpkin pie spice was sooo good too!
I didn’t know you could get an actually sandwich at Jimmy Johns! I only thought they had subs, haha. That sounds so good.
