And just like that, spring break is over. *insert crying emoji* π Back to school today! To be honest, I was getting a leetle bit lonely. I am a hermit if I’m not forced to go in public. For example: I washed my hair once during spring break. You can see how greasy it was in the picture of me at Noodles in this post. On second thought maybe you shouldn’t look…haha!
Despite getting a major snowstorm last Thursday/Friday, I got some great runs in this weekend! It warmed up quite a bit yesterday and was up to 46(!). When the sun is shining I can tell my mood is brightening. This winter has been quite long so it’s amazing to feel those rays of sunshine!

This weekend had some yummy eats too! Something is going on with me and food: I’m not as focused on it anymore. I’m not worrying about when I’m eating or what I’m eating. Kind of intuitive? For example, going to grandma’s for cake and ice cream before dinner. (and not stressing about it.)

Sunday morning pancakes: Kodiak Cakes with blueberries and cinnamon, topped with coconut oil and syrup. This was my first time putting coconut oil on anything and um why have I waited so long?! Green smoothie and more muffin on the side. Also notice the pancakes are burned. #storyofmylife
There is a new kitty that has been hanging out on the deck the past few days.
I haven’t got to pet her yet, but just give me a couple weeks. Mom, I think we might be adding a new member to the family π
That’s about it for the weekend! Back to the school grind this week. Only nine more weeks left!! I hope everyone had a Marvelous Monday, and thanks to Katie for hosting the linkup!
Oh girl your hair wasn’t greasy haha! When I was ten I developed two dreadlocks over winter break that year π Ain’t nobody got time for brushing! And YES to Kodiak Cakes! I love those things! Great post as usual π

I wish I had time to make anything other than overnight oats! But I have to be out of the house at 7:18 so there’s no chance for that π that’s what weekends are for! π
I can only begin to imagine how much a relief it must be to see some sun and have the weather warm up! I didn’t realize it before, but my mood and attitude are pretty largely based on the weather and clouds/cold (and that’s California cold, which is really nothing). Hope you get more rays of sunshine soon! π

I just can’t get over that weird texture of shrimp! Which is odd, because I’m a texture-freak haha! Your shrimp avocado salad still looked amazing though..I might be able to eat it like that π
