I’ve missed posting! But to be honest, I don’t have much to say.
I was at basketball camp from Monday-Wednesday, and then on Thursday I started a job!!
I now make pizzas and make money while doing it. Quite a good job, if you ask me π
Friday was spent in the great outdoors. I did 5 miles with run club then headed out to the garden!
Kelvin happened to be out there which was nice since he can help Mom and me. Crops are looking great!
After that I went with my grandma and grandpa out to camp to pick blueberries!
They are so plentiful right now. You could pick for hours!
Check out this little spidey that crawled out of the bucket.
And look what happens when I zoom and clarify!
So cool.
Back to grandma’s for dinner (chicken and biscuits.. fave)
and dessert.

Wild Blueberry Buckle
I love summer. π

Thanks Liz! π
Wild blueberries are the best! I remember finding them while running around outside as a kid. Last summer, I went picking at a blueberry farm and ended up with 16 pounds… whoops! At least they lasted a long time π
16 pounds?! I wouldn’t mind that π they freeze great!
Eating Blueberry Buckle with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is one of my favorite childhood memories – I need to make it! The garden looks completely amazing. I wish we had some blueberry bushes, because the bloobs down here cost $$$$$$. Also, dat spider. Yeesh.
Congrats on the job!!!!!!!! Where are you working?!?!

GRANDMA DIDN’T HAVE ICE CREAM π I had to settle for whipped cream. Definitely not as good.
Main Street Pizza!!! aka the best pizza in town.
Congrats on the job! Making money during the summer is ALWAYS fun. Your garden is gorgeous. Seriously, you either have an insanely good eye for photography, or everything was so beautiful in general that anybody could make it look amazing. Or both. I’m thinking both. My Grandma has a HUGE garden, and I absolutely love spending as much time as I can out there. It’s always so exciting harvesting home grown food and eating what you grew. Also, my Grandparents (both sides) have blueberries. Every summer we pick for hours and make pies, crumbles, and other fruity foods! There’s not much better than homegrown blueberries xx

Nothing beats homegrown bloobs! I freeze what we don’t use and use them in my oatmeal year round. I have a little tiny bit still left from last year! So cool that both sides of your grandparents have blueberries. And thanks! I seriously just LOVE photography. I can’t even imagine life before my dSLR, haha! Happy Saturday π <3
Congrats on the new job! How fun. I don’t have a garden (our backyard’s not that big) but I would LOVE to have one someday.

Definitely get one as soon as possible! The feeling is so awesome about knowing you grew something yourself π
Congratulations on the job!! π It sounds like fun.
Your garden is gorgeous!! Everything looks so fresh and delicious.
Michigan blueberries are the best- I have never actually picked them, but every year my mom either drives to get a huuuuuge box, or we have a friend pick some up for us! I have a box in the fridge right now! π

He is tiny! Just long legs π
I’m not sure if they’re organic or not.. they just grow naturally at camp! So I’m guessing they are π
I could seriously LIVE off that huge bucket of blueberries! I love snacking on them in the summer. Your garden looks incredible this year!

Thanks, Kathryn! Hope all is well in TX π
Wowza, your camera is AMAZING. That spider picture blows my mind, haha. The wild blueberry buckle looks and sounds super good right now! I wish I had a garden–I have the past like four years, but didn’t get to this year because I moved and the wedding and blah blah blah haha.
