I was pleasantly surprised to wake up this morning to a snow day! I’m not even sure why – we didn’t even get that much snow last night.
The day has been spent in town with my mom. I’ve been really depressed today. I don’t know why. I feel bad for my mom, but she’s also been kind of crabby too. I need to focus on the good. Not the bad.
Something good I can focus on is the new shoes I got! Glik’s had some amazing deals today. I got two pairs of TOMS for $27 each! Is that not great?! Also an adorable pair of Roxy boots for $19!
I got to change the donation board too π
This morning I had to do a little shoveling. I swear I was shoveling water. The snow is so thick!

So, if anyone’s wondering, we did not win the basketball tournament! Everyone was all in good spirits about it though. We beat the team that we wanted to beat. We accomplished our goal! And it was nice for the other teams to be in the championship. I also didn’t want to wait to play – I wanted to get home!
I got a knee to the quad so I’m pretty sore. Someone also stepped on my foot so I’m an awkward walker right now! At least I don’t have to run today!
Blogging today has really helped me change my attitude. I had a Facetime piano lesson too (my teacher is in Florida!) and that always puts me in a good mood. I need to remember how blessed I am!
