Happy Sunday everyone! It’s been a BEAUTIFUL weekend and I’ll have a post up tomorrow with running and whatnot. Today I have something I’ve been waiting to share!
It’s no secret that I absolutely love finding new brands that create simple yet tasty and nutritious snacks. I’m not sure how I came across The Yes Bar, but I am sure glad I did!
I sent them an email asking if they’d send me a sample to try out. They readily agreed and offered up a sample box for a reader as well! I actually received the box a few months ago, but it was literally the week after I got my braces sooo the bars had to wait until my teeth were finally able to chew so I could really test them.
Now I just realized that the bars you’re going to win expire pretty soon, and I take total blame for this one. I promise it will be okay though. I’ve eaten things long after their expiration π okay I ate some hummus yesterday that expired in January. And I just admitted that to the Internet. I’m sorry.
While thinking about how to describe the bar, I found this on their website and think it does the job perfectly.
One bite is rich and chocolatey, the next is tangy apricot or salty cinnamon. Like a good date, you never know what’s going to happen next…
Exactly. While these have more ingredients than most healthy bars, it’s okay because every single one is good for your body. Each bite has something new to offer and you never know what flavor’s gonna come next!
I couldn’t decide which flavor I liked more. I expected to like the Macadamia Chocolate Chip more since I’m not too a huge fan of savory bars, but the Mocha Cayenne surprised me. It’s not spicy where you need a big glass of milk to cool your mouth down, but more of an underlying kick that is ADDICTING. And when you get a flake of sea salt in a bite?!?! Ahhhhhh.
The bars are always soy, dairy, gluten, corn, and GMO free. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Both sound good, I usually lean towards mocha flavored things and this one sounds unigue

I had not heard of the “Yes!” Bars before reading your post. They both sound and look amazing! I like a lot of (natural) yummy ingredients in granola bars, cookies, protein bars, etc. Both the Mocha Cayenne and the Macadamia Nut Chocolate Chip sound amazing! I hope I win, so that I can try these!
