Well, the day has finally come. It’s Moving Day!
My mom and I had no intentions of moving, but then last summer we found a house only 4 blocks away from where we lived and fell in love.
Our offer was accepted but we still needed to sell our house if we were going to move. For about 9 months we were living in question whether or not our house would ever sell and we’d get to move. Finally a few months ago we received an offer, and it looked like we were going to be packing our bags!
We had to live at my grandparent’s house for 4 weeks while we were waiting to be able to get into our new house. I’m happy it was this way – I liked getting to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa!
Here are a few pictures of the empty house. Just imagine hardwoods throughout and a new white kitchen. That’s what we’re planning to do! π
Did I mention it’s on Lake Michigan?
Today has been spent moving everything in! I just took a quick break to post this and eat some lunch. The house doesn’t have wifi yet, so I’m not sure when I’ll be able to post next. Hopefully it will be soon!
Seriously SO jealous you get to live on water. Can I come visit!? π

SHUT UP. ON THE LAKE?!?!?! I spent summers in Escanaba as a kid on the lake π So happy for you and the mom!
