Looking for a quick breakfast recipe as the holidays are approaching? Look no further than these simple and sticky pecan rolls that everyone will enjoy!
November 1st means the start of the holiday season!
These simple and delicious pecan rolls are incredibly easy to whip up if you have unexpected guests or are looking for something sweet with your morning coffee. They’re also perfect as an addition to a big brunch.
You probably have everything you need for them already:
- crescent rolls
- brown sugar
- white sugar
- butter
- cinnamon
- syrup (regular – not maple!)
- pecans
That’s it! We add pecans but you can also leave them plain, which is how I ate them as a kid. My favorite are the center pieces, but the outside edges also have the most perfect crisp to them. Some people might call these sticky buns, but I grew up calling them pecan rolls which is what I’m sticking with!
Pecan rolls may not be the healthiest thing you could eat for breakfast, but they are a wonderful treat and great to be shared. See the recipe below for step-by-step photos.
We’ve been having these at home for as long as I can remember, and I hope you introduce them to your family as well. Enjoy!
